Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui was sympathetic to the fans after his team was blown out by Brighton, 6-0.
Doubles were hit by Deniz Undav, Pascal Gross, and Danny Welbeck today.
Following the loss, Lopetegui apologized profusely to the team's supporters. Everything went horribly wrong today. Early on, we went down a goal, then two. The onus is on the coach when such a day occurs.
We are currently in the thick of battle and must be prepared for the next war, therefore tomorrow we must put our best face forward.
"We have put in a lot of work this season, and today, for a variety of reasons, we lost 6-0. It's important to be able to regain your strength after a loss of that magnitude. We made some major errors. The onus is on the coach.
We are better than our performance today indicated, so we must prepare accordingly for our upcoming bout.
Remember, just four months ago we were at rock bottom, but at least now there is reason to believe. We, as a team, need to make significant efforts in the upcoming game.
