Mr. Peter Obi, who ran for president as a candidate for the Labour Party on February 25, sent his best wishes to Nigerian workers on the occasion of Workers' Day.
Obi told workers to hold on to the principles that make the country more productive, and he told them to stay strong.
Obi told Nigerian workers in his message to them that they should see their jobs as ways to help build the country. He told Nigerians that the country would grow and develop more if they knew that building the country was a job for everyone.
He said that Nigeria has a lot of hardworking people who want to see the country grow. He praised workers for continuing to work for the country even though the workers' safety situation in the country was bad.
Obi told workers not to be discouraged by the many problems he said plagued the country's economy and politics. Instead, he said, they should stay focused on building a more productive and prosperous country, which he said was part of what the New Nigeria had to offer.
"I want to promise you that the forces of evil, which have been holding this country back for a long time, won't be able to keep doing what they want. We're determined to get our country back for good, and we won't give up. I want you all to stay strong. Obi said, "Soon, the sun of justice, peace, and growth will shine on our nation."
